Within an optical system, many optical parts need to apply some combinative thin film layers on the substrate surface which enhance the transmission or reflection properties of the parts. The quality of the coating depends on the layers. PHYO OPTICS can apply the coating as: Anti-reflective (AR), High Reflective (HR), Partial Reflective (Beam splitter), and Filter, polarizer, and mirror coatings. With the state of art coating facilities, coating is the advantage area for the company. ??

Anti-Reflective Coating (AR) means to reduce the absorption or reflective of the light when get through the optical parts. normally PHYO offer the MgF AR coating, Multi-layer AR, and Broad band AR (BBAR). Single wavelength, Dural Peak, V type still available for the AR coating.
Magnesium Fluoride as the thin-film material, ideally reduce the reflection and absorbance for the light during transmission. Although it is not fit for all applications, but normally, this thin film coating can reduce the reflect value to 1.5percent compare with non-coated substrate about 4-6 percent.
